1. Is there any Spiritual practice, if adopted, will bring serenity and peace of mind?


A.It is important to understand the true meaning of the word Spirituality before practicing it. Spirituality is a study of two human souls coming in contact with each other through interactions and day to day behaviors. It is very similar to human psychology. Spirituality is a lifestyle. It is not a ritual to follow or a religious performance. For me Spirituality is to “treat others the way you want them to treat you”. In simple words humility.

Try this simple exercise at home, take a glass of water and hold it upright in your hand. You may say this is very easy. Sure it is! Now, hold this glass for an hour and don't let your hand move or rest at all but keep it in the same position as you stated.

Can you keep it still for that long? I bet no, nobody can. Your hand will start hurting and you would like to rest. This little exercise explains the state of our mind when we uphold numerous things inside but never release them. I have learned in the past decade that one can be at peace if you let go of many things from your life. Carrying a bundle of worries, apprehensions, ifs-&-buts, will only take away your peace of mind, so let it go. In the first place, those trouble shooters were never your problems, secondly all human beings are far more stronger than problems.
